Consumer electronics leader LG signals formal commitment to Linux as one of major platforms for future devices
SAN FRANCISCO, April 14, 2010 – The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit
organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux, today
announced that LG Electronics is its newest member. LG will participate
in the Linux Foundation’s events and community development efforts.
